RELAY
Delete your RELAY data
You can start deletion in the app: open Settings, then “Delete my data”. A 30-day grace period is shown and can be cancelled before purge.
Request from the web
If you can no longer open the app, email contact@relaymoment.fr. Include only the account identifier shown in an export or Settings if available. Never send an invitation link, token, photo or unnecessary sensitive information.
Removed after the grace period
Optional profile, associated city and country, declared age bracket, push token, R2 media, preferences, blocks, attributable events and operational data are removed or disconnected.
Structurally anonymized data
An already transmitted lineage may retain opaque structural identifiers without a name, city, country, media, push token or account credential. This preserves continuity for other participants without presenting that structure as the removed person’s identity.
Steps and timing
On the day you ask, your account enters a 30-day grace period shown in the app. During that time you can cancel and everything comes back; meanwhile others no longer see your echoes, thanks, notes and passed gestures (details on the privacy page). When the 30 days are over, the purge removes the data listed above. A request sent by email is answered within one month at the latest, as the GDPR requires.
What stays on your phone
Your private traces, meaning the notes and photos you did not share, are kept on your phone and never on our servers. To erase them too, delete the app from your device.
Frequently asked questions
Do the people I passed a spark to lose it? No. Their spark keeps going; only the link to your identity disappears.
Can I remove a single note or photo? Yes, without deleting everything: you can erase it from that trace at any time.
What if I come back later? After the purge, the old history cannot be restored. You can always start again, with no account.
Confirmation
When manual handling is needed, the contact channel confirms the request and its completion. Any legally required retention will be explained for the relevant case; this page invents none.
